Personally as someone who was curious but still not a big beach person, 5 days/4 nights felt perfect for me so that I wouldn’t get too bored. But on the grander scheme of things, I also coupled this trip with seeing my friend in Qatar. So yes I saved and planned and crossed half the planet to enjoy the Maldives – but also to see a dear friend along the way. Two birds one stone and all that.
