So you got engaged? CONGRATS DUDE! That’s literally major and I’m a sucker for a cute wedding. But the wedding bit probably won’t be for a while, and only after weeks/months of planning for the big event. Thankfully, the engagement period isn’t all stress and worry! It’s also filled with excitement and celebration! And, most importantly, your bachelor/stag party! Considering you’re on my site, I’m going to go out on a limb here and assume you like traveling! You may even be considering a lit party with your homies somewhere internationally! But if you’re having trouble narrowing down the location, no worries! With the help of bloggers who have had their parties abroad, we’ve rounded up the best bachelor party destinations around the world for your convenience!
Also, I know these kinds of parties have different names around depending on where you’re from. Stag Do. Buck’s night. Bull’s party. Etc. etc. Since this is a round-up post from bloggers around the world, they may refer to it differently throughout this post. Just a heads up.
Also also, just because these parties are coined ‘YoUr LaSt NigHt oF fReEdOm’ or whatever, that doesn’t mean you can just go out and act a complete sleazy fool. Remember, at your bachelor party – YOU ARENT ACTUALLY SINGLE. You still have a fiance(e) to answer to when the night’s over. So make sure to plan your bachelor party accordingly so you still have someone to get married to at the end of the day.
Now then, without further ado, I present you with some of the best bachelor party destinations that will absolutely blow your group’s mind!
Table of Contents
North America
By North America, I’m including Central America and the Caribbean as well. Because, yanno, geography and whatnot. That said, I am specifically leaving out cities in the United States of America because I have tons of blog posts already about group trips throughout the states. If you want one in the USA, check out those posts based on what kind of destination you want!
But if you want your bachelor party outside of the USA, this post has you covered! Starting with….
Mexico City, Mexico
By Matt from Wheatless Wanderlust

Whether you’re looking to get drunk on mezcal, do a guided taco tour, or you want to learn all about Mexican history and culture, you’ll find plenty of options in Mexico City. Which makes it a virtually perfect bachelor party destination, whatever vibe you’re looking for. It’s a gigantic city – the biggest in North America by population, in fact. There is something for everyone to fall in love with.
Stay at Condesa DF boutique hotel, located in the charming neighborhood of La Condesa. Condesa DF has a rooftop bar that is a great spot to toast to the bachelor before heading out to explore the area’s incredible food scene for dinner, which will come with a shockingly affordable price tag. If you love food and want to learn about Mexico’s rich food culture, make sure to add a cooking class and a street food tour (that means tacos, lots of tacos) to your Mexico City itinerary.

The ruins of Teotihuacán and its towering pyramids are a short drive from the city center if your group is into history and exploring! While you’re in Mexico City, you’re going to want to try mezcal. Either do a guided tasting, or head to La Clandestina to choose from their long and diverse list of mezcals. Or, take your shots (literally) at some of Mexico City’s best nightclubs like Janis, Patrick Miller (el Patrick), or El Marrakech!
Marigot Bay, St Lucia
By Darek from Darek and Gosia

Your bachelor party is one of the most important days of your life. You should probably want it to be unforgettable, right? St. Lucia is a stunning Caribbean island that is a perfect bachelor party destination!
In the heart of Saint Lucia lies Marigot Bay – probably the most beautiful bay in the Caribbean. The Marigot Bay Resort and Marina is a 5-star luxury resort offering an all-inclusive package. There are 3 restaurants, a swim-up bar, and 2 outdoor pools. In addition, there are many options for water sports, sailing, and snorkeling. It’s a great option if anyone in your group is new to water activities! Plus, the resort makes it easy to plan itineraries and excursions! And who doesn’t love relaxing on the beach??

If your group is more inclined to land activities, hikers will love scaling Mount Soufrière, the pungent volcano that emits sulfurous steam, or exploring Sulphur Springs Park, the Caribbean’s only “drive-in volcano!”
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
By James from Cruise West Coast

Puerto Vallarta is a fantastic destination that doesn’t get as much love as it’s neighbor to the north, Cabo San Lucas. However, as the gateway to Jalisco (the state where Tequila is from) it it should be on every guy’s list of places for an awesome destination bachelor party.
Contrary to what you might assume, Puerto Vallarta is more than just a white-washed tourist destination for rich Americans. While clearly the bulk of visitors are from the states, since it is only a short flight from Los Angeles and a prime Mexican Riviera cruise destination, the city as a thriving and diverse economy that includes Mexican tourists and local residents as well. This allows Puerto Vallarta to be a city that is safe to explore beyond the walls of your resort.
For guys planning a bachelor party, the possibilities are endless. There are plenty of clubs, bars, and restaurants to be found along the Malecon (boardwalk), as well as throughout the Zona Romantica. Take an evening “Taco Tour” with Vallarta Food Tours where you’ll explore food stands across the city from churros to marlin tacos and everything in between.

During the day, Puerto Vallarta offers fantastic golf, fishing, snorkeling, and beaches. In fact, a charter boat makes a perfect bachelor party idea and since the Bay of Banderas gets extremely deep very quickly you don’t need to go out to sea to find great fishing!
South America
Where the beaches are warm and the scenery is breathtaking. Grooms who want to take their bachelor party to the great continent of South America are probably on the more adventurous side. And adventure is EXACTLY what they will find in these destinations.
Cartagena, Colombia
By Adam from Cartagena Explorer

If your idea of a bachelor party includes good food, strong drinks, dancing, and partying on a beach, possibly with a boat involved. That makes Cartagena, Colombia one of the best bachelor party destinations!
There’s plenty to do and see in Cartagena during the day, whether it’s touring the charming colonial city and stopping in for a cold drink or famous Colombia coffee inside the historic Walled City. Then in the evening, stop into any of the many nightclubs to get your dance on, like Bazurto Social Club or Mr. Babilla. Sign up the crew for salsa dance lessons so you can all surprise your partners after the trip.

But, undoubtedly, you’ll have to do a boat rental out the gorgeous Rosario Islands. For a bachelor party, you can easily split up the cost of a booze cruise on a private boat rental. Usually, rental includes a stop to go snorkeling before heading to the party island of Cholón. With year-round warm weather, it’s a plan for any time of the year too.
Cusco, Peru

Once the capital of the Inca Empire, Cusco is now one of the best bachelor party destinations in South America! As an overall very affordable city, once your crew settles in, you will have no trouble finding trouble. Or -err- totally wholesome things to do! Once you settle into your lodging, the entire city is your playground.
Even within the city, there are tons of ruins to check out, as well as markets, cafes, and museums. Every day could have a different theme, so Cusco is perfect for groups with different interests! The city is even known globally for its gastronomy, so be sure to score a table at Kion and El Encuentro. You could spend weeks in the city and still not see everything. That said, if your group would like to get out and about, you could always take a 5-day trek to Machu Pichu to see one of the 7 greatest wonders of the world!

Orrrr…you could take the train. Either way, it’s an unforgettable adventure! Although the altitude may take some getting used to, the nightlife in Cusco is popping from day one! The clubs don’t close until the sun is already back out!
Africa and the Middle East
Welcome to the Motherland. This part of the world will give any bachelor party an extra bit of razzle-dazzle of culture and history, unlike any other place in the world. And with over sixty countries to choose from, it can be hard narrowing it down to just one destination! So for these set of countries, we’ve picked not only the best, but also the “easiest” cities to visit. By easiest, we mean that in both flight options and infrastructure. After all, not everyone in your group will be travel geniuses (though more power to them if they are!).
Cape Town, South Africa
By Campbell from Stingy Nomads

Cape Town in South Africa is an amazing city and one of the best bachelor party destinations, complete with fantastic venues and group activities in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. There are many exciting adventures to form the main activity of the day. Paintball is very popular with multiple paintball fields around the city just outside Cape Town, Stellenbosch and Somerset West. These venues often host bachelor parties and are prepared with great suggestions for fun and exciting games.
The high speed, adrenaline rush racing go-karts is another awesome activity for a bachelor’s party. The Kenilworth’s Go Karting track is a great venue with small, fast, high-tech go-karts and a twisty racetrack. Getting in the water with Great White Sharks and a couple of your best friends will get the bachelor’s adrenaline pumping and is awesome to build some camaraderie on a day trip to Gansbaai from Cape Town. Follow a thrilling afternoon, with wine tasting in the Cape Winelands and having a bite to eat at one of the beautiful estates. Cape Town has some fantastic clubs and bars for all tastes to make sure a fantastic day does not end early.

Dubai, UAE
By Luis from Roaming Lion

Dubai is one of the best bachelor party destinations in the Middle East. In fact probably the world. Dubai exudes elegance, but even if you are working on a tighter budget, you can experience Dubai’s luxury for less!
Dubai has no shortage of activities, from shopping in the world’s biggest mall to sailing in the gulf at sunset. Or even cruising through the Dubai Miracle Garden! Regardless of where you start, you’re going to need food. Since Dubai is a melting pot of cultures, there is an incredible variety of cuisines available for whatever mood your group is in. There are even options for high tea, but of course, it just happens to be in the highest restaurant in the world. This is Dubai after all.

However, if you want to get down with the get down, Dubai is equipped with some of the dankest clubs on the continent. You can race the fastest sports car, or chill at La Mer boardwalk. Dubai can be as fast or slow as you want, with or without alcohol. But Dubai is a city you have to see for yourself.
Asia and Oceanian
If there’s one thing guaranteed for a bachelor party in Asia, it’s good food and good times! Pack your sunscreen and a camera, because no matter which of these destinations you choose, you’re in for the time of your life!

Sydney, Australia

If you’re headed to the down under, Sydney is a must stop. And as far as celebrating an engagement, it’s one of the best bachelor party destinations in the world! Starting with the unusual first, Sydney has a few offbeat tours and activities that will have your crew reminiscing for years after. Liiike, indoor bubble soccer where you -surprise- run around a field in giant bubbles playing soccer.
There’s also golf, fishing charters, and numerous paintball tours that cater to buck’s parties! But when you’re ready to party, pregame at Papa Gede’s Bar if you’re in the mood for creative cocktails, or stick with The Baxter Inn for the classic clean whiskey. Or, instead of planning all the venues yourself, grab an all-inclusive package with Sydney Party Bus and let them do all the work while you sit back and enjoy the fun!

Sydney also has some of the best beaches on the continent, so when you need some downtime, head over to Bondi Beach to relax. And, well, recover from any hangovers.
Bali, Indonesia
By Carryn from Torn Tackies

Bali, Indonesia, is arguably the best bachelor party destination for an epic gettogether with all your mates! Not only is it super affordable, but the island is home to some of the best clubs and bars that are sure to make your bachelor’s one to remember!
Start off in the vibrant party town of Seminyak where you can enjoy a few cold ones on the beach before hitting Motel Mexicola for an awesome night out. The next day, head to Finn’s or one of the many beach clubs in Canggu where you can laze by the pool bar whilst international DJ’s take on the decks and get the party started.
After a few days of living it up in Seminyak, you’ll want to escape to the beaches of Uluwatu. They’re the best on the island! Surrounded by towering cliffs and awesome waves, Uluwatu is far more chilled and laid back when compared to other places in Bali. But, it’s also home to some of the most epic sunset spots including Single Fin and Sunset Point, both of which offer incredible views from high up on the cliff.

Still looking for more reasons to visit Bali for your bachelor’s? Why not go white water rafting in Ubud or scuba diving in Amed? And if you have more time, spend a few days in Gili Trawangan, an epic party island just off the coast of Bali!
Hong Kong

Hong Kong will become one of your favorite cities in the world. Let’s get that out of the way now. Although Hong Kong is technically part of China, it does feel completely different than the mainland and holds it’s own in terms of restaurants, nightlife, and excursions.
If you’re a fan of Disney (no shame here!), then you’ll be pleased to know that Hong Kong Disney is one of the best parks in the world – and it has the shortest lines! In between stuffing your faces at multiple Michelin star restaurants, you will also have the opportunity to indulge in a surprising amount of hikes around Hong Kong! They are far away enough from the city to clear your head and allow for deep conversations, but still a close enough taxi ride to make it on time for your bar crawl in the Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo neighborhoods!

Europe
Where where where to begin in Europe? With so many smaller countries close together, you could easily turn your Stag Night into a cross-country Eurotrip! But for time and convenience sake, we’ve listed a few of the best bachelor party destinations that usually fall under the radar for European itineraries!
Copenhagen, Denmark
By Stephen Schreck from Copenhagen Rocks

Copenhagen is one of the best bachelor party destinations for a myriad of reasons. First of all, the city is a picture-perfect definition of scenic. Its inner-city is filled with old buildings and stony streets. The neighborhoods of Vesterbro and Nørrebro are packed with art galleries, trendy markets, stylish restaurants.
What’s a bachelor party without nightlife? Being of Viking descent, it should come as no surprise that Danes like to drink! Copenhagen has an energetic nightlife. The club thrives on good music, bars, and pubs. But the city has made a name for itself in recent years for its wine-bars. You can even get booze ice cream and the one-of-a-kind bar Balderdash.

You could easily spend three days in Copenhagen with you lads, or gals and not get bored! And the fashionable neighborhoods, make it a great choice as a bachelor party destination. It’s a city I can never get enough of visiting!
Edinburgh, Scotland
By Campbell from Highlands 2 Hammocks

As the cultural and historical capital of Scotland, the cobbled streets
of Edinburgh are the perfect place to spend that special bachelor’s
weekend. When the party comes to “Auld Reekie”, the only true way to
celebrate is with a dram of the local produce, and Edinburgh has a ton
to choose from!
Spend the morning exploring the beautiful cobbled lanes of the capital
city, hearing the gruesome tales and fascinating stories that the
ancient streets have to offer. Then, when you have heard enough of the
city centre, head to the hills for a sunset view to remember at the top
of Calton Hill.
Once the night has descended upon the town, it is time to find the best
bar for a bit of Whisky tasting. For this, you can either book onto a
whisky tasting tour of the city, where you will be shown the process of
making whisky followed by a tasting session of the finished product, or
instead, you can go it alone.

If you choose to carve your own path through the city of Edinburgh, the
best whisky bar in town that you should check out is the Devil’s
Advocate in the Old Town of Edinburgh. Hidden down the narrow laneways of the Advocate’s Close, this secret whisky and cocktail den has over 300 types of whisky behind the bar. It is a must-visit place for both
whisky enthusiasts and those looking for a night to remember!

Modern tendencies in Europe vary a lot. You can go, for example, for a relaxing weekend in the mountains, maybe with some sport activity like rafting. Thanks to low-cost airlines, there is a new kind of trip: the bachelor-long-weekend in a “Ryanair destination”. The process to find the city is simple. You choose the period, you check where airlines fly, and you choose between the cheapest ones the destination that can provide the groom with a once in a lifetime experience.
Budapest falls fully into this category. It is extremely beautiful and has a lot of cultural things to do. Flying there is usually very cheap and it is connected to many airports of the continent. Life is not expensive and you can probably have a higher standard than in many other countries for your accommodation, food, and party expenses. Because you can actually have a lot of party in Budapest. And during the day, what’s better than a beer bike tour with your friends?

Without a doubt, Malta is one of the most underrated destinations to visit in the world! Particularly if you are planning an unforgettable bachelor party. Why? Well first up, one big thing you’re going to want is the nightlife. And St Julian’s is the best place in Malta to base yourself. There’s a real mix of clubs here, including some more chilled out bars right on the water. There’s also plenty of pubs and restaurants where you can pick up a nice meal before a big night on the town. In the daytime, there is a lot to get up to such as water skiing, parasailing or just chilling on the beach. Once you break out of St Julians, Malta and neighboring Gozo have plenty more to offer.

In the city, you’ll find 5,000-year-old temples, the historic city of Valletta and, perhaps best of all, the Blue Lagoon on the island of Comino.
