If you were to ask me what my favorite getaway destination is in Oregon, my answer is going to be Bend. In any season. What I especially love about Bend is that it is also a great group destination, but with that comes the hiccup of housing. While I don’t love Airbnb, especially not so much in the recent years, it is convenient. So with that, I am putting together this list of Airbnbs in Bend Oregon.

You might be asking yourself, what’s wrong with a hotel?

Nothing, in fact, it’s my preferred lodging of choice. BUT, staying in a rented house together as a group has a certain level of comradery that you just don’t get in a hotel. A shared hostel dorm room, okay yeah maybe, but…then you’re staying in a hostel bunk bed. And, even with all its faults, Airbnb is still top dog for offering some of the most unique lodging in the game.

That’s a dope bonding moment.

So, because Bend is a great Oregon destination to visit, I’ve decided to draft up this list of options for Airbnbs in Bend Oregon that can accommodate larger groups! Mostly, so you (or myself for that matter) don’t have to go sifting through 1000+ rentals on Airbnb yourself haha.

Disclaimer

I also want to explicitly state that I haven’t stayed in all of these Airbnbs in Bend Oregon. In fact, you should know that MOST roundups of best hotels/rentals published ANYWHERE – the author has not stayed in all of them.

This list was compiled by me over the months in my “Airbnbs in Bend Oregon” saved folder on Airbnb, because I’ve gone through all of their pictures and reviews and they sound like great options for when I eventually take my next trip down to Bend. So these are all places I want to stay in, but have not yet.

Please keep that in mind and review these properties for yourself before you book. If you use a wheelchair or other motility device, I’d even suggest reaching out to the owner because “accessible” does NOT always mean accessible to your needs specifically.

Alrighty, disclaimer over, let’s get into the meat of this post! My personal preference for these Airbnbs in Bend Oregon are spacious and bright. I’m not much of a dungeon gal. I also appreciate modern amenities, and cleanliness is a MUST.

All of the following Airbnbs in Bend Oregon also have my two other necessities: free parking and WiFi. Chances are, if you’re going to Bend, you might want to look into bringing your car or renting one. So, free parking is heavily preferred, especially with larger groups. Plus, not all cities will cater to your cell phone service provider. Having WiFi, STRONG WiFi at that, can really ease connectivity stress if you don’t have a great signal anywhere else.

And with WFH these days, if your rental’s WiFi is strong enough, maybe you can even extend your trip a few days and work from Bend! Check out my post for more tips on productively traveling while working remotely!

The last general thing I will mention is that, similar to Airbnbs in Palm Springs, Bend enforces verrry strict noise ordinance laws. Basically, you don’t want to even be TALKING outside on your rental patio after 9/10pm or before 8am. They will ticket you QUICK. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. That is the perfect way to RUIN any trip.

Bright Modern Cabin

3 Bedrooms/2 Baths

Perks: self check-in, fireplace, hot tub, modern washer/dryer, ping pong table

Group entertainment is a huge draw for all of these Airbnbs in Bend Oregon, but this one-story modern cabin shines with readily available entertainment such as a ping pong table and seating outdoors to soak up the sun. It is only one block away from 10 Barrel Brewing, convenient for late night munchies (or if you don’t want to hail Ubers for the group after a few beers).

If you’ve never been to Oregon, you should know that microbrews make up probably 10% of the state’s economy. So if you like beer, this is the place to indulge (responsibly of course).
