Arizona is such a…strange state. However, growing up in Southern California, Arizona feels like a sibling state and even feels more “like home” than where I currently live in Oregon. It’s one of the most beautiful states in the country, in my humble opinion, and while you might be visiting for the stunning landscape, the rich Indigenous culture, or a little R&R at one of the wellness resorts, you should also know of one more attraction: the best zipline in Arizona.
….yeah, okay, the segway into the point of this blog post was a stretch, but it’s Saturday and my brain is fried hahah.
Anyway, YES. There are surprisingly a lot of options to zipline in Arizona, more than you would logically rationalize, but like I said. Arizona is a strange state.
I regret to inform you that I have not tried out all of the various sites to zipline in Arizona, buuuut I have something even better. Someone else who has.

If you’re looking for a fast zipline, a tandem zipline, a seated zipline, or a course with over thirty zip lines, we gotchu. Prices range from $14 to $110, which is great for any budget!
Zipline requirements vary (weight/height restrictions, minimum party size, etc), so research the course you choose before you go! It’s always ideal to bring sunscreen, closed-toed shoes, water, and long pants on your zipline adventure to stay protected from the elements!
Arizona Zipline Adventures
closest city: Tucson
If you’re looking for the best ziplining package near Tucson, drive an hour north to Arizona Zipline Adventures! Arizona Zipline Adventures is in Oracle on the back of Mount Lemmon. They have two zipline packages: the Eco Zipline Tour and the Sunset Zipline Tour. Both packages take zipliners through their five-zipline course, and the only difference is that the Sunset Zipline Tour occurs during dawn, excluding the summer months.
The course starts you off easy, and as you progress through the course, the ziplines become faster and longer. The last zipline is a dual-line, which means you get to zipline next to the person of your choice! The ziplines range from 400 to 1,500 feet long, and you can reach speeds up to 55 miles per hour on the last zipline! It costs around $93 for adults and $83 for youth, military, and seniors.
Predator Zip Lines
closest city: Sedona and Phoenix
Predator Zip Line is a fantastic option if you’re an animal lover or want to zipline in Arizona with your kiddos! This zipline course is over the Out of Africa Wildlife Park, so you can see African animals below as you fly through the ziplines! Predator Ziplines is in Camp Verde, near Sedona and Phoenix.
This zipline course offers views into the wildlife preserve, but you’ll also get great views of the red rocks in Sedona, Humphreys Peak in Flagstaff, and the Cottonwood Valley nearby! The five-zipline course spreads over one mile, and the last zipline is about speed, whereas the first four are an opportunity to observe the animals. It costs around $110 per person.
Sky Ziplining Grand Canyon
closest city: Las Vegas
Sky Ziplining is arguably one of the best ziplining packages in Arizona because Grand Canyon West is the only zipline you can take over the Grand Canyon.
Well, the Grand Canyon West.
It’s situated in Hualupai Point, on the Hualupai Reservation (not technically part of the National Park). Y’all already know how much I ride for GCW, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time exploring various attractions like Guano Point.
This zipline in Arizona is a one-course zipline, though it reaches speeds up to 40 miles per hour and covers 3,200 feet in length. The nice thing about the Sky Ziplining Package is that you can ride the zipline twice! You need a general admissions ticket into Grand Canyon West beforehand, but the many beautiful viewpoints and other attractions make it worth the money.
The general admission and ziplining ticket costs between $90 and $95 for both. You’ll start in the Hualupai office, get shuttled to the tower, climb a few flights of stairs, and you’re ready to fly through the Grand Canyon!
Superstition Zipline
closest city: Phoenix
If you’re anywhere near Phoenix looking to zipline in Arizona, the Superstition Zipline is a must-visit! It’s situated in the Goldfield Ghost Town and is a seated ride with beautiful views of the Superstition Mountains on the horizon. People of all ages can ride as long as they are forty-two inches tall. Kids between forty-two and forty-nine inches tall must ride with an adult.
It’s a one-zipline course and only costs $14 per person, with an additional $7 if you’d like to ride again! It’s a great way to get a zipline experience near Phoenix without breaking the bank. It’s the best budget-friendly zipline in Arizona. After, you can hang around the once-bustling mining town for additional attractions, tours, and food.
Flagstaff Adventure Zipline
closest city: Flagstaff
Flagstaff Extreme is an adventure and zipline course in, SURPRISE, Flagstaff. Their adventure zipline has over thirty ziplines. This zipline in Arizona is the largest ziplining course in the western USA! The lines are between 15 and 80 feet in the pine trees. Unlike other ziplines, it is self-guided and go-at-your-own-pace. Participants will receive training and preparation beforehand.
It’s great for folks who like to go at their own pace or may be more comfortable with less interaction.Flagstaff Extreme offers the opportunity to do both the zipline course AND their adventure course! To do the zipline course alone costs $60 (for ages 12 and up), but if you want to add on the adventure course, it costs $99.
Apache High Flyer Zipline
closest city: Phoenix
Sunrise Park Resort, owned and operated by the White Mountain Apache Tribe, visitors can zipline from the top of Sunrise Mountain to the base. It’s a six-zipline course, but the real showstopper is the Apache High Flyer, a tandem zipline covering 2,300 feet and reaching speeds up to fifty miles per hour! You can do the Apache High Flyer by itself or go through their six-zipline course and end with it!
The Spirit Trail Adventure Tour zipline course starts 10,000 feet on the mountain above sea level, so make sure to bring layers due to the changing elevation! It costs $50 to do the Apache High Flyer or $75 to do the entire zipline course for adults. If you have the time, we’d recommend spending the extra $15 to experience five additional ziplines.
Route 66 Zipline
closest city: Flagstaff
Route 66 Zipline is in the small town of Williams, Arizona. It’s a one-zipline seated course that is 110 feet high and reaches a speed of up to 30 miles per hour! There is only one line, so it only takes about fifteen minutes to complete after climbing sixteen stairs to the tower. Route 66 Zipline is an ideal choice if you’re in a time crunch and are looking for something to entertain you and/or your kiddos!
We’d recommend booking when you’re there because there have been mixed reviews online about booking in advance. It’s the perfect entry-level zipline experience for those who might be afraid of heights but still want to try something exciting! It costs $15 for the short ride down. It’s a fun, quick attraction if you’re taking a Route 66 road trip and want to stretch your legs a little! It’s also the only zipline near the south entrance of the Grand Canyon.
